Alice in Fashionland...

Tim Burton and Alice in Wonderland go together likes bats and caves.  Well aren’t they all just our favorite things!!  So we are super duper 3-D shades excited for March 5^th and the opening of Alice In Wonderland in 3-D.

Zac Posen and Pamela Love are designing an awesome line of Alice jewelry. What the f is this amazingness?  This stuff is all so freaking creepy cool I couldn’t decide which pics to share. And actually this Pamela Love chick is pretty badass…. She also has a line of WTWTA jewelry, which is so awesome And she has a True Blood line in the works??  I swear she is our kindred tree friend. And I think she reads our blog.   Love it as much as we do?  Check out the Spring lookbook. 

Urban Decay has come out another Book of Shadows. And yay for us its Alice themed!!

BETTER THAN SMURFS

Last night I finally went to see Avatar.  In 3D.  I don’t know that I can ever see a movie not in 3D again, and I am sure I want to see every 3D movie they showed.  #1 being Alice in Wonderland and #2 How to Train a Dragon.  The second is mostly because I figure that’s a skill I will need to take over the world.

I thought Avatar was amazing and I am pretty sure I lived there with them.  Like to the point where I questioned my own humanity.  So did Dustin.  The graphics were clearly amazing but I was down with   the story line too.  At one point I realized I still knew what was going on and that made me happy.  I felt morally conflicted but in a good way.  I hate long movies and this one made me feel like it was real life and so i was cool with it.  At the end I actually said "Can we do that again?"  It may have destroyed all regular movie watching for me for life.  It was worth it.

I must admit that there was a point when blue dude made a reference to a “situation” and myself and 3 companions bust out into a fit of laughter.

WEASEL WEDNESDAY #1: BAD ROMANCE EDITION

We all make stupid mistakes when it comes to the opposite sex.

I have officially decided… today is the day to stop.

Its time to stop blaming them and start looking for the signs. Justin Long says it best when he says (S)He’s just not that into you.

And if he’s not who cares.

Let’s call them out on it. If you have a stupid sign you missed, post it as a comment. And for Pete’s sake please put them out there. Otherwise Tuesday Bluesday will turn into Wahh wahh Wednesday. And we don’t want that.

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE

So I just got to go to a very special screening of the Where the Wild Things are movie with one of my favorite people. She knows how much I love it and worked very hard to get me a ticket. My son's room is decorated to revolve around the theme, as will his first birthday party. Let the Wild Rumpus start. She is the same person who would bring me home men's WTWA tees from Urban Outfitters when I was too fat to fit in my small ones. So i wore my small tee all day to represent. (I was very excited) but luckily changed out of it before the screening so i did not look like "that girl." So we got there nice and early and took our perch in the back row overlooking all the hipsters. She proclaimed these were the "blow job seats" and that she was hoping to get some. Did it work? I'll never tell. So the scenery was great (hipsters all dressed alike but thinking they are so original) but the movie was even better. I loved it from the first scene. I don't want to give away too much on here because I hope you will all go see it. The kid who played Max was great, it was a great play on the book, it was funny and even relatable. Everything was awesome, the soundtrack, the effects, the concepts, the voices, I can't say enough great things about it. Go Wild Things!!!!!
